Relaxing...
The last two days I spent at home, finally relaxing myself with nothing more than sitting around, reading, writing, listening to music and phoning with
Laura. Yesterday I practiced a little Chinese, today I wrote on my Sprach(en)tod paper about the endangered writing systems. It's nearly finished now (finally!), there are only 2 small passages left, plus some kind of conclusion for the end (no idea what to write there yet) and I'll have to rewrite the abstract at the beginning.
As the weather was really nice yesterday, I decided to call Ulrike in order to ask if she'd like to go to the park or to the zoo (the famous Leipziger Zoo!) with me and 黄旖旎 (Huáng Yǐnǐ). She sayed yes and seemed very enthusiastic, which surprised me. I was so happy... and had to call Laura afterwards. *lol*
So... when the weather is really really good tomorrow, we might go to some park together to have a little picknick, to talk and maybe practice some Chinese with Yini. In case of no sunshine we can go to the zoo, which means that Yini has to close away her stuff from language school and her laptop at the main station or somewhere. Manageable, I hope. Going to the park involves more planning and managing, as we need blankets, cookies, juice and things like that... weather is an important factor. By the time you read this it might already be tomorrow and the decision is made. I don't know...
Furthermore, I watched "The Gods Must Be Crazy II" today, the second bottle movie in that crazy-sounding Khoi-San language named Ungwatsi on IMDb (I was sure it's !Xóõ). It wasn't as good as the first one, so I only gave it 5 points. But as Tyko already said: that guy on the bike with the hen was cool... ;)
I also had a long phone talk with Laura today, in which we talked about languages, the secret services of foreign countries (you have to listen to the guy pronouncing "KGB" in the Wikipedia article!), Laura's evil parents, cartoon series, the time when we were children, and fairy tales. Fairy tales were really nice and I never really appreciate them that much when I was small. But I had one favorite: "Die Schneekönigin" (The Snowqueen?)...
Aw well... I hope tomorrow's gonna be a sunny day and everything works out well. :)
