Yesterday I only had Chinese and History of Linguistics (i.e. 20-year old syntax :-p).
Chinese was nice, that Syntax stuff was hard to understand, as usual. But on the bus I had time to read the script of Mr. Heck and now I can at least understand the basics and what it's all about. I think I can get into it when I read more thoroughly.
In the evening they showed "The Terminal" at the Unikino (located at Hörsaal Süd, Campus Jahnallee) for 2€ only. Since Stephi had no time, Laura didn't like the movie and Ulrike unfortunately didn't reply, I called fay_morgenstern and went there with her. In the auditorium where the film was shown we also met Yvonne from my linguistics classes; we sat next to her.
I loved the movie, it was absolutely great! Way better than Laura had told. It wasn't always too plausible, but it was really well done and somehow way more moving than most other films I know. I'm not sure why. I've read Tom Hanks spoke Bulgarian in the movie, hehe... 9 points!

Today I woke up and my hearing was quite bad, caused by stuffed ears (I wont trouble you with the details); using a cotton-wool tip made everything worse and I couldn't hear anything on my right ear anymore. After Chinese class, I went to the otorhinolaryngologist [HNO-Arzt] who wanted to have 10€ and spilled my ears clean again. She said cotton-wool tips aren't recommendable for cleaning one's ears anyway.
I went to eat at the mensa then, with 非常可爱的Ulrike, Svea and Anne. ^^ Afterwards I went to Cognitive Fundamentals of Speech Processing where I sat next to Laura. Quite interesting again, I'm glad that Dr. Pechmann speaks slow enough for us to keep up writing... although certain people dislike him. Hm.

I tested my Chinese vocabulary:
As by now (chapter 26) we know 545 words, of which I had 525 correct and 20 wrong. That gives a correctness ratio of about 97.3%.

And whoo, I'm going to bed very early today. Midnight! :D
