Anne, Laura, MRT, ...

kimura_izumiAnne and I met up at the Sinology institute's library yesterday, because there were still some things I had to research. On my way I also saw Anne H., but she didn't see me or she didn't show it. ;)
After looking for some books, we went through town to look for some place to eat and found Pizza Hut, where we had some pizza, which was way too much. But very tasty! Then Anne had to go home and I went back to the library to copy some more stuff. I'm still lacking a map of China which shows where the Miao minority is located. :S

I later thought again about changing groups, because Chinese group A consisted of less people but included poor Ulrike without much other persons I knew (besides maybe zwirbelJohanna, whereas on the other side Group B had more people I knew in it. I couldn't decide and did nothing, just got a little depressed on the bus ride back home. I called inselLaura who told me an amusing story and cheered me up a little. My conclusion now: It's probably the best thing if I stay in my group B. Hm... *shrugs*

In the institute I also found an anounce on a board of a Chinese girl asking for a tandem partner. I picked a phone number / e-mail sheet, wrote a mail and added her on MSN later the day. She replied: Her name's 黄旖旎 (Huáng Yǐnǐ), she's 24 and she's studying DaF (German as Foreign Language) here and lives in Leipzig for 6 months now. And she's from a town near Shanghai and also speaks the Wu dialect, hehe... that's cool, I gotta learn some Wu later! :D
She didn't say if she wants me as her tandem partner, but I'm positive about it (I should be positive about something that day, so this was what I choose).

This morning I had to get up early for a magnetic resonance tomography (MRT) of my head. This is like a computer tomography (CT), just for the head only and it's done to figure out why I am epileptic. There I got an injection with some magnesite as contrast agent and headphones with silly music, which was too silent. They put me into that oven-like tube and for about 15 minutes I just lied there starring at a blue line, hearing several different humming noises, etc.
Then they said thanks and bye. In about one week we'll get the results from my neurologist.
I hope they won't find some kind of cerebral tumor that's pushing on my memory and pulling at my linguistic center. :S

I also met up with Laura in the city and we went to eat out at the "Schnitzel-Culture", which is a nice place that offers 30 different kinds of Schnitzel. I took a Greek one and it was good. We later went to Laura's place, she visited her opposite neighbour (funny story, but I won't tell) while I was talking to Alex, yes... she came back, we had some chitchat with Alex again and then went to her room, where we listened to music and later she tidied up her room while I was taking a nap. *lol*

Nevertheless, the evening back home was somehow depressing, don't know why, I feel a little pissed-off and don't know why (maybe because of 可爱的乌尔里克?). And no, the Pope's death is not the reason.
