Markus visited me today, and we talked for a while. He now uses Gmail, a web-based e-mail client from Google. It's much better than I had expected. Very quick, and provides practically everything a normal e-mail client has. And considering the fact that I'm still using Outlook (people always try to convince me giving it up, because it's dangerous), I might indeed switch to Gmail... I'm still thinking about it.
If you use Gmail as well, you could tell me about your experiences (good and bad) with it, give me any disadvantages you came across... :)

Laura called me and asked if I wanted to go shopping with her at the Paunsdorf Center. I actually like going shopping with her, and Markus accompanied us, though Markus and I only ate some Asian food, while Laura was looking for shoes. Aw well...

When I told my mom about my experiences at the Max-Planck-Institut for Evolutionary Anthropology, she asked me if I'd consider working there, sometime in future. This was indeed what I was thinking when I walked along the hallway in there and overheared a woman and a bearded man talking about the phonology of some endangered language. Hmm... maybe I'll be such a bearded man in future too?
